Chandler Espresso Bar Kicks Off Fall Events

Chandler, Arizona (9/10/03) – The Singing TV Guys will be playing their folk and rock ballads along with their humor show at Coffee Works in Chandler on September 20, 2003 starting at 7:00pm. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Arizona Humane Society.

The Singing TV Guys are local television media celebrities Mike Chamberlin and Chris Coraggio. Chamberlin and Coraggio spend their free time playing acoustic guitar and putting on a fun and energetic show for guests.

“We are extremely pleased to host Mike and Chris for this great cause. Their music is fun and spans country to rock. Their humorous ways should delight and entertain our guests and raise much needed money for homeless animals,” said Debbie Stall, owner of Coffee Works.

Chamberlin is the former Sports anchor for KTVK Channel 3, an independent TV station and CNN affiliate. He has been recently promoted to the prime time news anchor. Coraggio is the Sports anchor for KPHO Channel 5, the local CBS TV affiliate.

"Music was in my life long before broadcasting. It's always held a special place in my life, and I'm thrilled to be singing in the valley," said Chamberlin.

The event is one of dozens planned by Stall for Coffee Works guests. Coffee Works has a preferred partnership with Meetup.com, the popular web site that “organizes local interest groups” and is widely credited with “making” the Howard Dean in 2004 Presidential campaign so popular.

Coffee Works has already hosted over a dozen political groups through their Meetup.com partnership.

Along with dozens of other Meetups at Coffee Works, Stall has on tap Singles nights and other local musicians and artists for her guests to mix, mingle and relax with.
